Olivia Fields

Olivia Fields is an illusrator born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She creates comics &zines, fanwork, original illustrations, and original risographs.

I am not too familiar with the world of illustration, but I appreciate the work that goes into Fields' art. I recently was able to see her at Comic Arts Brooklyn. I bought her zine, SOLE, and I am obsessed with her detail with color, construction, and how easily I am able to fit the beautiful zine into my pocket. I am amazed at how her work is expansive with imagination, but able to be placed in the world we live it, birthing inspiration and adding color to Black Futurism.
